Already Taking PLAVIX
Your doctor may have prescribed PLAVIX if you have had a recent heart attack, a recent stroke, or have been diagnosed with Peripheral Artery Disease, or P.A.D. (also known as poor circulation in the legs).
PLAVIX helps reduce your future risk of a heart attack or stroke
PLAVIX is proven to help keep platelets in the blood from sticking together and forming clots—the cause of most heart attacks and strokes.
PLAVIX starts working soon after you take it and will continue to help protect you as long as you take it as your doctor prescribes. Your doctor may have prescribed PLAVIX and aspirin if you’ve been hospitalized with heart-related chest pain or had a heart attack—what your doctor calls ACS (acute coronary syndrome). Always talk to your doctor before taking aspirin or another heart medication with PLAVIX, especially if you’ve had a stroke.
